Using the Power of RxExplorer™
Health Information Designs is proud of the Data Analysis and Decision
Support capabilities of our legacy product, RxExplorer™. This
browser based Intranet or Internet product allows the user to access
virtually all of the elements of his or her database to study. RxExplorer
readily allows the user to obtain standard information such as top
drugs by dollars or by count. RxExplorer also allows the user to
create unique queries that search the database by a number of different
parameters. The user can select drugs by nine different parameters
and can filter (exclude or include) drugs by seven different filters.
The user can also filter the recipients by diagnosis, gender, age,
race, program group, etc. This enormous flexibility allows the user
to run an almost infinite number of ad hoc reports. The information
can be reported in a number of different formats as well.
An infinite number of ad hoc reports can be produced. Such reports

The uniqueness of our product is that it allows the user to access
his or her database from any computer that can be connected to the
server by any network, whether that is intra-office network or the
Internet. The user does not access an extract of the database, but
rather the entire database is available for study.
One of HID’s newest Data Analysis and Decision Support Tools
is RxExplorer’s sophisticated Compass™ Database Predictive
Modeling system. This statistical analysis-based system uses a database
of past client data for two or more years as the basis to predict
pharmaceutical and medical costs for the coming year.
